The diseases discussed include SARS, Avian flu, Rift Valley Fever and Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. This program looks at the transmission, clinical features, diagnosis, treatment, vectors, prevention and control of these diseases.

In this activity students will take on the role of cancer researchers as they simulate cancer growth by growing mold on various foods and attempting to contain it.
